Cashier rings up customer, tenders debit card and prints receipt.   Register prints 2 receipts, one for sale and one for debit card.  Cashier gives sale receipt to customer but has doesn't have anywhere to put the debit receipt because there is not an option to open the cash drawer on Debit Cards.

Anybody having the same issue?

I'd suggest using cash drawers with media slots for this.  I'd rather they tuck that slip into the media slot, rather than opening and exposing the cash.

If there is not an option to open cash drawer on debit card then shouldn't the option to print debit receipt be removed or able to unselect.

Not sure that I follow you.

I think you need 2 copies, so the customer can take one with them.  I can certainly suggest to IP that we add a feature to pop the drawer on debit.  But for now, the workaround would be to use the media slot.

This worked fine without PPM active.  We just hit debit card, scanned the card and authorized with our Omni3200.

It looks like 1-12-07 cORE has the fix.

Thank you
