How do I delete a full store from Retail Pro so I can re-use the inventory license without buying a new one.

The store hasn't been open for 5 years, so I should be able to delete it.

Then inventory can be zeroed out by running a PI and updating all.

We had an issue where our vendors didn't update the address info for the store number and all of our orders were shipped to the old location.

But that would just make the inventory 0.  Is there a way to delete the store #?  Or do they stay there forever?

That depends what its set to.

The inventory number cannot be changed. So if this is inventory 003, that wont change.  You can however, 'rename' the inventory in system Prefs>Stores Storecode.

003, you could change to 'LA' for example.

What I'm asking is can we reclaim the inventory to use on another store, because when we usually have a new store we have to pay for a new inventory.

When you change the store code in the system preferences, it will affect all the history documents of that store which it can be conflecting to us.
