Again, thanks for the tip.

Linda

RE: Running Build Totals (SRO) on scheduler

Thanks for your input, Burk. My parameters were written correctly. We finally discovered the problem. I have a lockout period set up through system preferences. When I scheduled the Build Totals to run outside the lockout period, it ran properly. I also have RPRODB running within the lockout period, and it appears to run correctly. Go figure...

Linda

RE: Running Build Totals (SRO) on scheduler

Here what I use just double check to make sure you have the information entered correctly. I do not have a date range but i think it is better to specify months instead of days.

Good luck
Running Build Totals (SRO) on scheduler

We have Build Totals (v 8.4), aka SRO, set up on the scheduler to run nightly. Recently it has not been updating properly. When I view the SRO date range screen the dates analyzed are those of a manual run, rather than that of the scheduled run time. The scheduler shows it takes nearly 9 minutes to run. When running it manually through Retail Pro it takes less than 30 seconds. Our parameters are 100 days, 100 days ago. I'm sure I have the parameters written correctly as I have these same instructions on a separate main and it runs in less than 15 seconds and updates properly.

Hope you can give me some tricks to correct this. Thanks.

Linda Helmer/Tile For Less

Anyone planning to attend next month's User Conference in SD?
