While pring X/Z Out Report an Error Showing Can't Open "D:\Retail\Rpro\Design\DocDesigns\XZOut\.rpt", Anybody have any solution.

I have tried copying RTI Schema and .rpt files but still the same.

In reading both this post, and the other post, you appear to be missing several files.  I would recommend doing a full backup, and then reinstalling the program.  If that doesn't address it, then please contact technical support.

I sometimes see this error when I don't have a design selected in WS preferences.

You must select a design in workstation preferences.

Thanks.

Hi,

This error usually appears when you have missing files in designs, if you copy the same design (Retail Pro Default) it will resolve the problem.

Hi, I am having this exact same issue. The X out report works on the host machine, but none of the work stations. I cannot find a setting anywhere, for how to set which design to use. In WS preferences from the Retail Pro Home screen, I do not see anything about picking a design.

Another problem I am having is that one WS with a receipt printer set up, always prints the receipt plus about 8 inches of extra paper. I have narrowed this down to some problem in Retail Pro. I have double checked the printer settings in windows. Furthermore, anything else I print, whether it is a test page, or a notepad test, prints properly with no extra paper at the end. Anyone have any clue why this would be? I have checked and double checked the doc design for the receipts.

Thanks in advance

Both the design and paper length are in WSPrefs>Printing. Under active printers you can select a design and set paper size.

This screen is used for all document types by changing the area from 'all receipts' to another document type.

Found it. Thanks! Didn't realize those where all drop-down menus.
