Hi there everybody. I am trying to figure out how to setup discounts and promotional pricing. For example, we have gloves with different size styles.... small, medium, large, extra large. The price for example is 10.00, but i want to make it buy 3 or more and get them for 7.00.

So when the cashier scans the item, the discounts automatically go in without having to manual enter. Also, we sell an item for $500, but in the fall we want to discount to 449.99.

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be most helpful.

Thank you very much!

You have a couple options. Promo pricing, qty pricing, and markdowns.

Check the emanual user guide under inventory for the different methods. also see Merchandise Utilities for Price manager.

Make sure you have a backup of your data before using Price Cost Manager, as the changes can be very sweeping.

I would also recommend training on with your dealer as the manual doesn't include 'best practices'
