| | Recently we reconfigured our store's layout and as a result, the cashier station pc moved. When we hooked it up in the new location, everything works fine with one major exception -- now the cash drawer connected via a Star TSP700II Thermal Receipt Printer will not pop in Retail Pro. It pops in the Star Utility program, but not within RP. I checked all the settings to double, triple check to make sure nothing changed. I tried swapping printers with another cashier station. No luck. I've reinstalled the Printer drivers. Everything. Still, though, the cash drawer only pops in Star Utility, and not in Retail Pro. Thoughts? Suggestions? Anything? PS we are running Retail Pro ME version 9. |

| i don't know this device, i used epson opos systems.
you may see on the prefsWS in the peripherals page, the drawer should be linked to the correct port, and it should contain a special sequence of characters which allow the kick.
anyway this is for epson, i don't know how starprinter interface with rpro. |

| | It is set up under workstation preferences, properly too. And the weird thing is when I hit the test button, it goes through the test procedure and says "Test Succeeded", when clearly the drawer did not pop. |
