| We have been noticing that AMEX Costco cards with the picture on the back do not require the cashier to hit the authorize button. They auto authorize. Is this something anybody else has seen? We use the i3070 as well as the IDTECH MiniMag with 1000SE.

| This could be extra track data. We've run into problems with Costco Amex as the member number is included as well.

| What was your fix? We are also having issues with MasterCard Debit.

| For normal MSR you can program for track2 only. For a pinpad with shift4 you would need to work with Shift4 on it.

| If we only use Track 2 then the customer name on the receipt will not appear. Also we will not be able to use the drivers license feature.

| | Try setting up for track 1&2. I beleive the extra data is on track 3. You should be able to tell if you scan into notepad.
