Hi Everyone,

Is there an option in Retail Pro that prompts the cashier to make a cash drop? I was told there was, but I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

There is a workaround - you can use Pulse for this.

We use it at our Head Office to monitor cash levels in all our store's tills (22). We set a limit and if this is reached we get an alarm up on everybody's screen (who is running Pulse). It's just a backup so that we can call the store and remind them to do a Cash Drop. We also use Pulse to track daily performance against Target for each store, we set up a target figure and get a continuous percentage update against that target for each store on our Head Office screens.

This should also work at store level, so the actual store would get cash drop reminders

All on v8, of course - Pulse doesn't exist on V9

Works perfectly
