How is everybody handling checks using 8.6?

PcCharge/Shift 4?

I am currently on 8.5x and PPM, getting ready to upgrade. What do I need to look out for.

MY HUGE CONCERN is how my gift cards are going to convert.

Who do you have your gift cards with? We use Paymentech for all and the only issue we have seen is the baud rate for check auth.

Currently with First Data(formerly paymentech, but got sent in the split) and telecheck.

Gift cards are with First Data (paymentech platform...)

We were in the same boat with First Data/Paymentech. DO NOT let them convert you to FDS. Stay on Paymentech. The transition will be easier with PCCharge.

Do you already have your NetConnect accounts? We had been using a serial to IP gateway for faster authorization.
