| hi,,
when installing retailpro9
in the first stages of zipping applications
I had a database error
"Cannot connect to database. please contact your...... etc"
then the installation is terminated.

"The Database Has Failed To Install, Aborting Installation. Please Contact Your Support Department."

| while installing new virgin ( retaile Pro9 -9.20.5 build in oracle 11 )
1st – if I open merchandise or sales this massage appear to me { could not convert variant of type ( NULL) into type ( Boolean) }
2nd - and I tried to recover the old database again using standard way I got this error { failed to perform media recovery }
3rd - finally I got this error after recovering the old database (the license server is down )

| This could be several different problems. You should contact your dealer on this.

| | Volda, 1st thing, is you need to get the license service running. Service control manager, and update or activate. Without it running, Oracle will not run. Your recovery failed, so i have no idea what state your Database is in.. If it is an empty DB, I would probably just uninstall and reinstall everything.

| i've the same problem, but when i reinstall everything, it work normally ^^
