Opening Report Module Very Slow

We have just upgraded to Version 8.52. I find that when we open reports, the screen that pops up that says Loading and Initializing hangs for a long period of time. Can that screen be turned off in any way similar to toggling off the Retail Pro Splash screen on startup?

I too had the same problem. By the way, my company is planning to open retail store chains in India. We are looking for retail consultants. Any suggestions
