Polling: Process In - Index File Corrupt

Hello everybody,

I have problem regarding with Polling Process In. Can any one help me please...

This is the error encountered: (appeared in Command DOS window)

Index file corrupted

ISAMError=10010

ISAMDOSError=2

ISAMDOSFunc=15810

File variable is nil

===================================

this error may be that the polling log itself is corrupted. try opening the polling log and either purge, recover or delete all on prompt.

How i can do removing polling logs? is it safe to do this?

The polling logs are retailrproLog.dat, IX and Dia and Logcount.dat dia and IX. All can be removed and the system will recreate them.

Is removing polling logs from time to time and allowing the creation of fresh ones beneficial in any way btw, Brett?

If no one is manually going into polling>log and running the purge, or there is not a scheduled task to run it, then yes it can definitely be helpful. The system defaults to 15 days on a purge.
